Radiation Oncologist

The Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin is seeking Radiation Oncologists for academic staff faculty positions.

Principal Duties: These UW clinical Radiation Oncology positions entail clinical responsibilities as well as ample opportunity for academic interactions. Technologies available include IMRT, prostate and breast brachytherapy, lung and GYN HDR brachytherapy, radiosurgery and Tomotherapy. There is also a close working relationship with a large, active Medical Oncology practice. These positions are located in Appleton, Wis. and Oshkosh, Wis. as part of Affinity Health System, with whom the University of Wisconsin has had a long-standing radiation oncology relationship. Faculty work closely with UW Madison, linked by weekly videoconferenced chart rounds and tumor boards, physics and equipment advising, strategic planning consultation, clinical protocol development and education endeavors. Appleton and Oshkosh are located in Central Wisconsin, and consistently ranked high in quality of life indices.


Qualifications include: MD and completion of residency in Radiation Oncology; board certification is required or expected within 2 years of hiring date. Post-residency clinical experience is favored but not required. Applicants must be able to obtain licensure in Wisconsin without restriction.
