My research interests include radiation physics, computer physics and their application to medicine and health. In particular, I am engaged in research into radiation dosimetry, radiation calibration and radiation effects from a theoretical and practical viewpoint. Computers are used to model radiation transport through matter using techniques such as the Monte Carlo method and convolution/superposition approaches. To verify predictions, requires sophisticated measurement techniques to categorize and quantify the radiation effects.
