Christian Hyde, MD, DABR

Dr. Christian Hyde is an Assistant Professor (CHS) in the Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health and a radiation oncologist at the UW Health Carbone Cancer Center.

Dr. Hyde is a board‑certified radiation oncologist with specialized expertise in proton therapy and advanced radiation treatment planning. He earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed his internship, residency, and advanced clinical training at nationally recognized academic medical centers.

His clinical and research interests focus on the use of proton therapy to improve cancer control while reducing radiation exposure to critical organs, particularly in complex and high‑risk cases. Dr. Hyde has led and contributed to multiple clinical trials in proton therapy and precision radiation techniques, with his research presented at national and international scientific meetings.

At UW–Madison, Dr. Hyde serves as a proton therapy–specialized radiation oncologist and is committed to patient‑centered care, clinical innovation, and medical education within a multidisciplinary academic environment.
