DHO Members Present Their Research at Radiation Research Society Annual Meeting

The Department of Human Oncology (DHO) was well-represented at the Radiation Research Society (RRS) Annual Meeting in early November 2019. Bentson Translational Research Fellows Dr. Pippa Cosper and Dr. Ravi Patel and graduate student Aaron Lee received Scholar-in-Training travel awards for their work. Drs. Cosper and Randy Kimple presented in a scientific session on human papillomavirus related cancers and radiation response. Dr. Patel presented on preclinical mechanisms of immunotherapy and radiation. Dr. Andrew Baschnagel presented on preclinical studies of radiosensitizers. DHO graduate students Aaron Lee and Justin Jagodinsky and DHO Scientist Paul Clark presented posters. Dr. Jamey Weichert presented on the emerging field of radionuclides for imaging, therapy and dosimetry.
